Talking about Making Money by Writing RPGs at Flow March 10, 2018

In St. Louis, MO, there is a new group to help writers come together and better at their craft called Flow. Sunday, March 10, 2018, I'll be doing an interactive presentation about our experiences publishing games and more importantly, how writers can use their worlds to make money as an RPG.

What Will Be Covered

At the presentation, I'll be talking about a few things. The focus, though is going to be how a writer can take their world, their idea, their project, and turn it into a part of an existing RPG or a new RPG unto itself. We'll talk about (at minimum):

• What is an RPG and the basic narrative parts of them (in general)
• What kinds of products you can write using the world in your head.
  
• Where to publish your writings to make money.
• Some free systems and tools to use to technically make your project come true.
• Q&A
• If there's time, we'll start to take a writer's world and make an RPG book outline as an example of a possible product.
