AnSR 2022 Goals

Each year, AnSR Games sits down, makes goals for our company, and (usually) shares them with the world. It's 2022, and we have some fun things planned for the year. So what are our goals, our dreams, and the things we think we can accomplish? Read on.

The AnSR Goals List

The AnSR Goals List is essentially broken down to 2 categories: actual goals to achieve, and optional goals that would be great if they happen.

Our goals for 2022 are:

• Make enough money to pay for the website (~$20). 
• Release 2 new games using the ZipWarz rule set.
• Release 1 new expansion for Promise Reborn.
• Release at least 1 new YMOR Game.
• (Optional) Run 2 or more crowd-funding campaigns.
• (Optional) Get 2 RPGs ready for 2023 release.
• (Optional) Make an updated version of DiColumns.

In all, this is a pretty attainable list. Even the optional goals are do-able.

Some Actual Game Previews

We are more prepared in 2022 than we were for 2021. So prepared, in fact, that we can actually share some of the upcoming games for you. These games are finalizing the editing process, and wrapping up final playtesting.

Angels: Lair of the Shadow King
This game is is a 1-4 player cooperative game where players take the role of brave Angels hunting down the diabolical Shadow King. Using unique powers and a modified version of the ZipWarz rules, players all win together if they defeat the Shadow King... or lose when all Angels are defeated.

Mana Seekers
What if you could play a collectable card game without the cards or the collection? What if you could do it by printing out 2 pieces of paper, getting a bunch of tokens and picking 2 of your favorite 6-sided dice? A print and play CCG of sorts. That is how we started building Mana Seekers, and it has turned out great. It gives the feel of a CCG on 2 pieces of paper, is quick to set-up, play, and play again. We really think this is a new, innovative twist on a classic genre we love. We can't wait for you to see it!

Angels: Dominion War
In Angels: Dominion War, players take the role of either a band of Faithful Angels of the Silver City or a war party of Fallen Angels from the Red City. Each side has their own goals and ways to gain victory. Whichever side gains the most victory in this asymmetrical skirmish-size war game wins the conflict... and possibly the war for the Heavenly realm.

BONUS: This game is Powered by ZipWarz, so you can mix and match it with other ZipWarz games, and it adds new rules for ZipWarz in general.
