This month, we release The Siege of Tyler City. Here's a quick shot of what the game looks like set-up. Since it is a 2-player game that fits in a small box, it doesn't take up a lot of space, and you are far less likely to flip the table when you lose. In fact... you can just play again.
This month, The Siege of Tyler City releases. Here's a little artwork we did for one of the locations the players battle over in this quick 2-player strategy game set in the wild west. If the Townsfolk can control this and 4 other blue Sherrif's badge locations, the Outlaws lose!
In St. Louis, MO, there is a new group to help writers come together and better at their craft called Flow. Sunday, March 10, 2018, I'll be doing an interactive presentation about our experiences publishing games and more importantly, how writers can use their worlds to make money as an RPG. Each year, AnSR Games sits around and decides what they are wanting to do in the next year. We finally completed our discussions and presented here are our goals for 2018. One of the upcoming releases for AnSR Games is the 2-player Wild West game The Siege of Tyler City. As we get ready to release it upon the masses, we thought we'd share a little artwork with you.
Each year, AnSR Games takes a look back at the goals we set and if we met them or not. Here is how we did in 2017.
We are big fans of the Ascension deckbuilding game. We have all the sets. When DriveThruCards started letting fans create their own cards, we were thrilled. So thrilled, in fact, that we jumped in and made our own alternate starting cards. We just don't have time for amazingly complex rules in our roleplaying games anymore. I'm not talking about we, as in society. I mean we, as in AnSR Games. We want to play, not fiddle with the parts to play the game. To that end, we've been working on how to streamline how to make adventures for RPGs so we can get to the story faster. A few variations on this will appear in our upcoming RPG releases, but for now, we wanted to let you in on our thoughts. If you use it, let us know.
We have been working on 3 separate games lately.
We are 4 months into 2017, so we thought we'd share where we're at with all of our projects and what has come up to try to derail us.
